OLOLOSOKUAN WILDERNESS-SAVANNAH SUNSET RESORT

Venue; Ololosokuan, Ngong

Programme

Day One.

12:00pm: Departure. We will meet at the Green corner at 12pm and depart at 12:30pm.
2:30pm: Arrival. We will pass by the famous Ngong town and proceed on to arrive at 2:30pm. We will check in our Tents and relax a bit as we enjoy the serenity of Ololosokuan Wilderness.
3:30pm: Team Bonding. We will begin by having team games and dynamics that will make the team bond well.
4:00pm: Nature Trial. We will explore the Ololosokuan Picturesque Nature Trail which takes approximately 1hour and 15minutes to go round.
It’s all the way up to the beautiful river “Ololosokuan” with less water due to Climate Change! The river bed is quite scenic and guys will get a splendid opportunity to take memorable photos. The rocks are a spectacular sight to behold and offer a perfect peak performance Challenge!
6:00pm: Relaxation Time. The place is elevated giving the visitors a superb opportunity to view the beautiful Sunset with a cool Breeze. We will come back from the Nature Trail and have time to relax as we enjoy ourselves.
We will have the goat eating over a mesmerizing bonfire.
8:30pm: Dinner. We will take our delicious dinner at 8:30pm. The dinner is appetizing and well prepared by the Savannah Chefs. Consequently, we will have more time to heartily enjoy ourselves in the Tranquil Environment. In addition to this, you will get Mouth Watering Nyama Choma and “Munono” specially made by the skilled Chefs. Overnight in the Tents.

Day Two
8:00am: Rise and Shine. We will wake up at 8am for light exercises and then take shower.
8:30am: Breakfast. We will have our yummy breakfast and relax a bit.
10:00am: Team Building. We will have Team Building Sessions so as to appreciate each other and understand the dynamics of Teamworking.
12:30am: Lunch. We will relax as we enjoy our delicious lunch in the quiet and peaceful surrounding.
2:00pm: Relaxation time. We will spend the afternoon hours relaxing in Ololosokuan; untamed wilderness and a place full of secluded splendor.
5:00pm: Departure. We begin our journey back to Nairobi, with excellent memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Nguruman Escarpment & Loita Hills Walking Safari

DAY 1, 22nd April: NBO – NGURUMAN ESCARPMENT
We will meet up at the pick up point at 0700hrs for our walking safari to Nguruman Escarpment. By 0800hrs we will depart and start driving towards Ngong town and passing through “corner baridi”, heading down to Magadi, 595 meters above sea level. We will pass by the well known Lake Magadi (the Salt Lake). Depending on the season, it is home to thousands of stunning Flamingoes. We shoul...d arrive at camp towards mid day at the footsteps of Nguruman escarpment. The valley floor of the escarpment lies at 900 meters above sea level, while the crest is at 2,900meters. After setting up camp, we will have our picnic lunch here and spend the afternoon by the river. At night you will be served with dinner.

DAY 2, 23rd: HIKE IN THE LOITA HILLS
We start the day with an early wake up call at 0700hrs followed by breakfast. At 0800hrs, we will depart from camp and start our walking safari into the Loita hills, which forms a Cardinal Part of the Maasai Mara Ecosystem. The escarpment has an abundance of different bird species and wild animals. The Turracco, Superb Starling, Common Bulbul, African Pied Wagtail, Colobus Monkeys, Impalas, amongst others are in plenty. Nguruman Escarpment and the Loita Hills are in the Nemengineyo Forest; meaning the forest of the lost Girl. Legend has it that, a young Maasai Girl went up the Forest to collect firewood never to come back! We will explore the Loita Hills all the way up to the beautiful waterfalls, a spectacular sight to behold! During the hike, we will stop over for a picnic lunch. Loita Hills is untamed wilderness and the wildlife flourishes in its splendor. At 1600 we will return to camp and relax by the river. At night you will be served with dinner. After dinner you will be entertained by the camp fire with traditional Maasai dances and songs.

DAY 3, 24th: GAME DRIVE TO OL-KIRAMATIAN & VISIT LAKE MAGADI
We start the day with an early wake up call at 0600hrs, after a quick cup of tea we will depart from camp for Ol-Kiramatian conservancy for a game drive to seek wild animals like; Lions, Leopard, Hyenas, Buffalos, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Baboons, Zebras, Thomson’s Gazelle, Grants Gazelle, Elephants, Ostrich, Dik diks. We will return to camp by 0930hrs for breakfast. Towards mid day, we will depart on foot from camp for a picnic lunch by the Entasopia River. After lunch, we will return to camp and drive down to It is mythical that the warm waters have a healing effect and acts as a body lotion. We will return to camp towards evening. Alternatively, we could go for a walking safari with a habituated troop of baboons. At night you will be served with dinner and after dinner you will be entertained with maasai traditional dances by the campfire.

DAY 4, 25th: NGURUMAN ESCARPMENT – NAIROBI
After an early breakfast, we will pack up and head out of the camp by 0800hrs. Enroute we will pass by the hot springs of Magadi and spend some time in the hot springs. We will have enough time for a natural Jacuzzi with healing properties, relaxing your body and soul. We will depart from Magadi by 1000hrs and have a picnic lunch enroute. We will arrive back in Nairobi towards mid afternoon and drop you off at the drop off point, winding up your adventure walking safari to Nguruman Escaprment and the Loita Hills.

The rate for the safari will cater for the following:
Transport and game drives in a safari spec 4WD overland Expedition truck
Services of a cook during the safari
3 meals a day at camp during the safari
Provision of all camping equipment
Provision of 2 man dome tents
Provision of high density mattresses
Services of a guide for the hike into the Loita hills
Services of a tracker for the game drive
Camp fee

The rate will not cover:
Conservancy fee @ kshs 700 per person*
Walk with habituated baboon troop @ Kshs 1000 per person.
Drinks and drinking water
Sleeping bags
Travel and medical insurances
Tips for the staff at the end of the safari

The rate for the safari described above, on a per person basis will be Kshs. 12,000

Tea and coffee is always available at camp.

Kindly assist in basic camp chores like setting up your tents.
